Exhibit Development Workshops
|
Exhibit development workshops are:
- An opportunity for experienced exhibitors to hand down some of their knowledge
- An opportunity for you exhibitors to receive and learn about resources for developing the best presentation for your booth and/or your organization
- A place to test out your ideas for this year's booth.

WORKSHOPS:
November 12, 2003 10-11:30am:
(1) "What makes a good exhibit" Brian Schwadron, United States Steel
(2) What is involved in exhibiting at the SciTech Festival
The workshop will be held at Carnegie Science Center in the ground floor conference room.
Free parking is available.
January 15, 2004, 4-5:30pm:
Chance to run your booth by high school students! Hosted by Pittsburgh Technical Institute.
February 2004:
Teacher to help with 'real world' math problems exhibitors submit. Hosted by Michael Baker Corporation.
March 2004:
(1) Good science communication (how to talk to high school students)
(2) Last minute questions and instructions
(3) Incentives for volunteer recruitment!
